Peers & Beers for a Cause Community Service

How often do you get the chance to drink beer while doing something good for your community? Peers & Beers for a Cause at Georgetown Brewing on Saturday, April 28, offers one of those rare opportunities. About 10-15 volunteers are needed for two-hour shifts including raffle and beer sales and guest check-in. When not on duty, volunteers can sample Georgetown Brewing’s “darn tasty beers.” This Carolina Club community service activity also gives local Tar Heels a chance to help one of our own – Danielle Rogers, ’14, volunteer coordinator for Full Life Care, a non-profit in Seattle that serves older adults with chronic illnesses and/or disabilities. To volunteer, contact Danielle at (206) 224-3764 or danieller@fulllifecare.org . Find more information about the event on Full Life’s website and on Facebook .
